ABOUT KAREN HANNA
Karen Hanna started her career in executive search in 1984 and worked for a number of years for retained executive search firms such as the Caldwell Partners and the search practice of Price Waterhouse.
In 1994, she established her own retained search company, KAREN HANNA EXECUTIVE SEARCH, where some of her clients included Bowater Canada (now Resolute Forest Products), Adaltis Inc., Canadian National, BMO Bank of Montreal, and The National Bank of Canada.
Over the span of 25 years, Ms. Hanna has "head hunted" at the middle and senior management levels for both corporate and operational positions.
As a generalist, her search mandates have included management, finance. banking, accounting, marketing, human resources, sales, information technology, security, production, research and development, and etc.
Ms. Hanna has accumulated a wealth of experience having dealt with human capital needs for top employers from diverse industries such as the pulp and paper, transportation, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, banking, mutual funds, insurance, global accounting firms, international consulting firms, pharmaceutical and most recently operations in China.
She holds a B.A. from Bishop's University. She is a member of l'Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec CHRP and has attained the Registered Professional Recruiter RPR designation from the Association of Canadian Professional Recruiters of Canada.
